The spoon based system is specifically designed to reduce dust generation by actively delivering the lowest disturbance to the flow of material unlike other cascade systems which impede flow.

The videos show a clear comparision between the two systems. The clear nature of the model allows a view of the flow on the surfaces. This shows that the flow is more even and constant in a spoon system leading to the lowest levels of dust generation through minimal disturbance of the flow.
